New research students

The Centre has recruited four new students onto the PhD programme starting in the academic year 2005-2006. Two start immediately, with the others arriving in 2006 January.

Angela MacDonald comes to us from the University of Manchester, where she successfully studied for an MPhys in Astrophysics. She is working with Dr Tim Cawthorne on astrophysical jets.

Tom Bradley comes via University of Hertfordshire where he completed an MSc in Astrophysics. He will be working with Dr Roger Clowes on Large Scale Structures.

The other two students come from abroad, including one from South Africa attracted via our SALT connections.
