The JHI is hosting the STFC Avdanced Summer School in Solar System Plasmas during 28th August – 1st September 2017
PhD students in Solar, Magnetospheric, Ionospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics from all over the UK, with the addition of a participant from Sweden, are attending lectures and activities delivered by external and UCLan lecturers.
The programme explores theory and the most recent observations in the field in great depth, and promotes scientific and social interaction between the participants and the course tutors. Students also have an opportunity to give a short presentation of their PhD topic.
The School is organised by Dr Danielle Bewsher with the support of the JHI’s Solar Group.
