I am a Reader at the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute at the University of Central Lancashire.

My work focusses on the physics of the Sun and the Heliosphere, in particular on how particles are accelerated during solar flares and Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs), escape the solar atmosphere and propagate through space to reach the Earth. I research this problem by means of data analysis and modelling. More details are in the Research interests section.
